MINITWO Tut

This tutorial was written by me on May 1st 2020. The results are of my own imagination.  Any resemblance to another tutorial is purely coincidental.

Please DO NOT claim this tutorial as your own.

This was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

I write the tutorial as I am creating it so the layer order is probably wrong, but resize percentages are correct.
Please look at the finished tag when in doubt of order or placement.

Supplies needed

I am using PSP 2018 but this tutorial should work with any version.

PTU Tube:  I am using a beautiful tube by Misticheskaya.  Please do not use this tubes without a proper license.
You can purchase this tube at Pics For Design HERE

FTU Kit:  I am using a beautiful kit called "Mini Two" created by Karmalized Scraps.  You can download the kit from her blog HERE.

Mask:  Nae Mask 1.  You can grab it HERE.  Open and minimize in PSP.

Font of choice for you name.

Plug in: Xero Bad Dream, Mura Meisters Copies and Eyecandy Perspective Shadow.

Let's get started.

New transparent canvas 750 x 750 pixels.

New Raster layer and flood fill white.
New raster layer and select all, paste Paper 3 into selection. Deselect.
Apply Mask and merge group. Center in canvas and resize 95%.
Paste Frame 1, resize 35%. Rotate right 90 degrees and move up a bit.
Magic wand select inside the frame and expand by 5 pixels. New layer under frame and paste Paper 4 into selection. Do not deselect.
Paste your tube as a new layer and resize 85% . Position the face on the left of the frame, promote selection to layer and delete the tube layer.
By doing it this way you dont have any hideen pixels outside the canvas which can leave a shadow when you drop shadow.
I applied Xero Bad Dream (default settings) to my tube inside the frame and changed the layer Luminance.
Duplicate the frame back layer (Paper 4) and move above the tube layer. Change to Multiply.
I added my main tube above the frame and resized 28% and mirrored (H),sharpen, position.
Below the frame background layer:-
Paste Element 18 above mask layer, move to the left a touch. Duplicate and mirror (H), mirror (V) and move up a bit.
Paste Element 30 above mask layer resized 60% and moved to the left. Duplicate and mirror (H), Duplicate and rotate 90 left and move to the top.
Duplicate again and mirror (vertical), position.
Paste Element 13 resized 25%, position.
Above the frame:-
Paste Element 8 resize 35% , move to the left bottom.
Paste Element 27 resize 35% and rotated right 5 degrees, adjust sharpness, position.
Paste Element 20 resize 30% and positioned to the right. Duplicate, resize 85% and move above bottom purple flower.Duplicate and resize 50%, sharpen, position.
Paste Element 17 resize 22% and moved to the right. Duplicate and place behind largest purple flower.
Paste Element 4 resize 18% and move into position.
Paste Element 12 resize 15%, mirrored (H) and moved under the yellow jar layer to the left.
Paste Element 28 resize 20% mirrored (H) and positioned in front of jar.
Paste Element 9 resize 25% and move into position.
Paste Element 6 resize 20% position. Duplicate, mirror (H) and position.

At this stage I wanted more at the back of the tag so I did this:-
Frame 2 and resized 25%. Then I applied Mura Meisters Encircle.

Move to just above the mask layer.
Above main tube:-
Paste Element 5 resize 21% and move into position.
Paste Element 10 resize 10%, position. Duplicate and change colour to purple, resize 80% and mirror. position.
Paste Wordart resize 20% and change the colour of the word art to #f8cc29.
Select and float the word art and expand by 2, new raster layer under the word art and flood fill with #8161bb
Add noise to the word art Gaussian 20% mono. and merge these 2 layers together. Resize 90% , sharpen and position.
Add elements as wanted.
At this point I wasn't happy with the mask sticking out the bottom so I used my pick tool and readjusted the mask.
After readjustment I duplicated the mask and mirrored (H)
I added Eyecandy Perspective Shadow shadow to all layers.

Add the copyright and your name. Close off the white background layer and save as a png.

I also save the PSP version, so I can add names or change the tag.

MINIONE TUT

This tutorial was written by me on April 26th 2020.

PTU Tube:  I am using a beautiful tube by Enys Guerrero.  Please do not use this tubes without a proper license.
You can purchase this tube at CDO's store HERE

FTU Kit:  I am using a beautiful kit called "Mini One" created by Karmalized Scraps.  You can download the kit from her blog HERE.

Mask:  KissingKateMask2.  You can grab it on her blog HERE.  Open and minimize in psp.

Font of choice for you name.

Plug in: none.

Drop shadow of choice.

Let's get started.

New canvas 850 x 700 transparent image.
Flood fill white.
New layer, select all and paste Paper 2 into selection, deselect.
Apply the mask and merge group. Resize mask 95% and duplicate. Change top layer to Hard Light. (or one you like)and merge down with original mask layer.
Duplicate mask layer and mirror (horizontal) resize 80%. Move over to the left more and up.
Copy Frame 1 to your canvas and rotate 90 left. Resize 55% and move up and to the right a bit. Rotate again 4 left. I recoloured the gold part to match the flowers of the kit.
Click inside Frame with magic wand and expand by 5. New raster layer under the frame and paste Paper 2 into selection. Deselect.
Copy and paste your main tube and resize 40%. Position over the frame. Remove any excess that is outside the frame and unwanted.
Element 23 above mask layer, resize 80%, move over to the right. Duplicate mirror (horizontal) , mirror vertical (flip) and resize 80%, position.
Element 2 resize 20% , position over to the right.
Element 15 resize 20%, mirror (horizontal), position.
Element 28 above duplicated layer. Resize 65% and position over to the left. Duplicate and mirror, move down into position.
Duplicate and resize 50% and move into position.
Element 22 resized 25% and moved into position above the frame but below your main tube.
Element 27 above mask layer, resize 45% and mirror. Position over to the left.
Element 30 resized 15%
Element 24 resize 40% and position under the frame (and frame back) at the top.
Element 28 resize 25% position, duplicate, position.
Element 12 top of layers resize 30% position.
Element 6 resize 20% position.
Element 18 resize 22% position.
Spray 1 just below frame background resize 67% move over to the left and up a bit.
Duplicate Spray 1 and mirror (horizontal) move over more to the right.
Element 1 resize 15% and position.
At this point I duplicated a few of the existing elements :- duplicated Element 24 and rotated left 90% etc
I noticed now that the mask has not a transparent background, so to fix this I merged the mask layers and floated.
Promote selection to layer, then delete the original mask. Now the mask seems to be transparent.
Now is when I drop shadow my elements, because when I mirror elements the shadow would be on the wrong side.

Remember to add your copyright and any other text you wish.
Save as png.

Thanks for looking/ trying my tut.

In one of the forums I go to they have a brush/wordart/mask challenge. Someone was having trouble using ABR brushes in PSP so I tested them out and threw this tag together. Seeing as though I haven't posted for awhile I thought I would post it. No tutorial for it cause it's very simple.... but effective I think.

New Raster layer Select All and C/P Paper 3 into selection. Deselect and apply the mask. I used WSL Mask 78.
Hide the white background and crop to merged opaque.

Save as a png.

Most forums have a size requirement for tags ... 650 being the largest.
Image Canvas Size, change to 650 x 650 centered.
Delete the credit layer.
Now we can start playing lol
C/P tube as new layer. Resize 55% and place.
My tube has 3 different sizes, so copy and paste the different sizes as wished or follow my example.

New raster layer.
Make a gradient using 2 colour from your tube. Angle 315 repeats 0. Floodfill.
Apply L en K's Frederiek at default settings.
Change tube above this layer to Luminance (L) and lower the opacity to 50.

Layers, New raster layer
Floodfill with your gradient.
Selections contract by 5 and press delete on your keyboard.
Move this layer above your Luminance (L) opacity 50 tube.
Apply Transmission as before but change the offset to 1.
I changed the glitter oval from white to a very pale grey (cause I dont like white) using the MCCT.

Cuffs 2 resized 25% and flipped
Mask resized 40% free rotated left 10

Then I did a new layer selected and copied Paper 5 into selection and applied the mask again. But this time I have the mask mirrored.
Merge the mask layersand resize 90%
Now is the time to drop shadow, add your name and most importantly your copyright (make sure it is legible)
For drop shadow I used V2, H-2, Opacity60, Blur10, colour Black
On my main tube I used the drop shadow twice.

SUMMERTIME FUN TUT

Supplies :

A Dean Yeagle tube. Dean sells at CDO and can be found  HERE

Belinda's Summertime Fun Scrap Kit which is on Creative Addictions Blog and can be found  HERE

I used Big Easy font for the name and it can be found  HERE

No outside Filters were used.

Open new image 650 x 650 and floodfill with white (easier to see with a white bkgrnd)
Open frame 7 and copy, paste as new layer and resize 85%
Open frame 6 copy, paste as new layer under frame 7 resize 95%
Open Frame 5 copy/paste as new layer under frame 6.
Merge frames.
Duplicate the merged frame layer, move below original merged frames. Adjust Blur Gaussian Blur at 20
Magic wand click inside the original merged frame layer and expand by 5. New raster layer and copy, paste Paper 11 into selection.
Open up Water and paste as a new layer. Move down inside the frame until the top is just below centre and promote selection to layer. Deselect and delete the original water layer.
Open Bubbles and copy/paste as new layer.
Open Beach Sign and copy/paste as new layer (above frame layers). Resize 80% and rotate left 10. Move to top left of frame.
Open Dolphin and copy/paste as new layer. Resize 35% and move over the water layer on the left.
Copy your tube (I used the larger of the 2) and paste. Move over to the right of the frame.
One of my pet dislikes is seeing the cutoff bottom of a tube. So to rememdy this I copied pasted the Innertube, resized by 80% and moved it down to the bottom of my tube. (like it is around her thighs). Duplicate the Innertube and move the duplicated layer below your tube. Go back to the Innertube layer thats above your tube and erase the upper section. Wallah! the tube now doesn't have that awful straight cutoff.
Open Beach Ball, copy/paste as new layer. Resize 50% and move to left side of Innertube.
Open Crab, copy/paste as new layer. Resize 50% and move to the bottom over the Innertube and Beach Ball.
Open BubbleWand, copy/paste as new layer. Resize 50% and move below Crab layer. Image rotate left 15 and move the BubbleWand as if the Crab is holding it.
Open Firefly, copy/paste as new layer and resize 10%. Image rotate 20 degrees left and move over to the right hand side of the frame. Duplicate the Firefly and mirror. Move this duplicate up and cover the shell on the To Beach Sign.
Open Flip Flop Left, copy/paste as new layer. Resize 40% Image free rotate 90 degrees left and move down bottom left, behind the Beach Ball, move layer below Beach Ball layer.
Open Flip Flop Right, copy/paste as new layer. Resize 40% and move down behind Flip Flop Left, move layer below Flip Flop Left layer.

Now is the time to drop shadow all elements EXCEPT the frame, the blurred frame and the Upper Innertube (the erased one)
Dropshadow using  H 2, V 2, Opacity 35, Blur 10, colour black
Add your name and the © Copyright. I used Big Easy font in color #ffce26 size 36. I rotated the name left 10 degrees and placed it on the Innertube. I then drop shadowed.
Hide the white background and crop to Merged Opaque. Save as a png.
